Frequently Asked Questions

Questions And Answers That Help You Understand Medome.

SOAP Health is the parent company of Medome and a health organization with a very personal mission. It was created by Dr. Steven Charlap, a brokenhearted doctor who has been helping people for over 40 years. He started Medome in honor of his brother, also a doctor, who sadly died because of a wrong diagnosis. That heartbreaking loss changed Dr. Charlap’s life and inspired him to do something that could help others avoid the same fate.

Medome applies Health Intelligence to your Personal Health Record, precisely curated by you for accuracy, and which becomes your sole source of medical truth for all future medical encounters. NEVER fill out a medical history form again!

Medome is personalized primary care advice delivered anywhere anytime through a cloud-based application. It's for people who believe you reap what you sow. Medome is your security blanket for the unexpected in health care.

At Medome, our mission is simple: we want to make healthcare better, more affordable, and more accurate, for everyone.

A Different Way to Help

We want to be completely honest with you. Medome is not a replacement for a real doctor. We don’t pretend that our computer tools, some of which use AI, are some kind of “AI Doctor.” AI can’t do physical exams or write prescriptions, and sometimes, those things are absolutely necessary.

We also don’t promise to figure out what’s wrong with you in just a few minutes by asking 20 quick questions. That’s not how real medicine works. Even a broken clock is right twice a day, but that doesn’t make it reliable.

What makes Medome different is how deeply we try to understand you. We take the time to learn about your symptoms, the medications you're taking, your personal and three-generation family health history, your lifestyle, and even your social situation. Having your full picture in one place allows you to figure out what's happening quickly, safely, and without wasting your time or money. Medome helps you make better decisions about when to see a doctor, preps you if you go, records the visit, and double-checks for accuracy. Medome improve your health journeys, whether inside or outside a medical office.

We use AI wisely and carefully, checking and rechecking our work, and always keeping an open mind. If your medical situation surpasses our capabilities, we’ll tell you. And we’ll help you figure out the next best steps to get answers. We never rush. We never cut corners. We believe the right way is the only way.

A Personal Promise to You

Dr. Charlap believes in this mission so deeply that he wants to share his personal phone number (his only one) with you: (617) 319-6434. If something we do doesn’t meet your expectations, you can call him directly. (Just know that he turns his phone off after 8 PM EST and back on at 9 AM—in respect of his wife of over 40 years, because he lives by the motto: “Rested wife, happy life!”)

Dr. Charlap has spent his whole life helping others, but this time it’s personal. Prior to his brother’s passing, he was the founder of HealthDrive, a company that cared for over 5 million older adults without a single malpractice case filed, a rare and proud achievement in a heavy litigious environment..

After losing his brother, he spent more than five years at Stanford and Harvard studying why misdiagnoses happen and how to prevent them. Both institutions financially supported his mission. More recently, funding has been received from the National Institutes of Health (US) and the National Health Services (UK).

Why We Do This

Medome took over ten years to build, and is now being used by practicing doctors under the name SOAP Health.  Remember

If it feels very wrong, it probably is. Trust your instincts.

Tell your family about this guide. Keep it somewhere easy to find, on your fridge, in your app, or printed at home.

Remember: This information is for educational purposes only and should not replace professional medical advice. Always consult with a healthcare provider for medical concerns.

AI cannot always get the right diagnosis. Neither can doctors. One study showed that 20 percent of patients leave the Mayo Clinic without a diagnosis. While AI is a powerful tool that's constantly getting better at helping with medical decisions, it's not a substitute for a licensed medical professional today, especially for severe or critical health problems.

Think of AI as a very smart and thoughtful medical textbook that can both share and analyze received  information, but can't examine you or take responsibility for your care.

Although Medome is trained on some powerful and unique databases that we believe enables the highest levels of diagnostic accuracy, it is not approved as your sole source of primary care. As Dr. Steven Charlap, our Founder, likes to say, “Trust, but Verify!”

(This section was written by AI but was reviewed by Dr. Charlap.)

Why AI Can Be Helpful in Medicine

AI's strengths lie in its ability to process large amounts of information, which can be a huge benefit to both patients and doctors.

  • Pattern Recognition: AI can look at thousands of medical images like X-rays and CT scans and spot patterns that humans might miss. It is especially good at finding early signs of diseases like cancer.
  • Speed and Availability: AI tools work 24/7 and can provide information instantly, which is helpful in areas where there aren't enough doctors. AI also doesn’t suffer from decision fatigue or confirmation bias.
  • Memory and Knowledge: AI never forgets medical information and can access huge amounts of research and guidelines, ensuring a consistent approach to a given set of symptoms.
  • Good for Both Simple and Complicated Questions: AI is a great resource for basic symptom checking, tracking symptoms over time, getting medication reminders, and learning about conditions. With Medome, it goes deeper. Our AI is able to identify key pieces of missing information that can help make the right diagnosis. With a specialized process developed by Medome scientists and physicians, we use a series of steps to identify additional questions that are worth asking to improve the diagnostic process.

Why AI Cannot Be Fully Trusted

Despite its strengths, AI has major limitations that prevent it from being an always safe or reliable replacement for a human healthcare professional.

  • Lacks Human Touch: An AI can't physically examine you, such as listen to your heart or lungs, feel for lumps, or check your reflexes. AI models are relatively weak at problems that need hands on experience to be solved.
  • Lacks “Intuitive Experience.” This is still a strictly human capability that allows lessons learned or experience to be applied thoughtfully in solving a current puzzle. For example, a patient presents with an unusual presentation for a common disease. This exact presentation has not been seen before but the doctor remembers something similar and uses their intuition to derive the right diagnosis.
  • Training Data Problems: AI learns from medical records that often contain inaccuracies or may not fairly represent all races, ages, or genders equally. This can lead to inaccurate or biased results.
  • No Legal Authority: AI is not licensed to practice medicine and cannot legally prescribe medications.

When You MUST See a Healthcare Professional

You should always consult with a licensed healthcare professional for diagnosis, treatment, and prescriptions.

  • Need Prescriptions: All prescription medications, like antibiotics, insulin, or blood pressure meds, require a licensed provider’s order.
  • Need Physical Examination: Doctors need to see and examine you in person for annual check-ups, unusual lumps, skin changes, and many other physical findings.
  • For Serious Symptoms: Never rely on AI for emergencies like chest pain, trouble breathing, severe bleeding, or stroke symptoms. Call 911 (US), 999 (UK) or your local emergency services. Call 988 (US) for emergency mental health services. Persistent or worsening symptoms may also require in-person care.
  • For Specialized Care: Biopsies, surgery, other procedures, cancer diagnosis, pregnancy care, and chronic disease management still all require a trained healthcare professional.

How to Decide If You Need a Medical Consultation

Use this simple decision guide to know when to get professional medical help:

Start Here: Is this an emergency?

  • Yes: Examples: Chest pain, trouble breathing, stroke symptoms, spreading rash, or severe bleeding? Call 911 (US), 999 (UK), or your local emergency number or go to the emergency room.
  • No: Ask yourself these two questions:
  1. Do you need:
    • A prescription,
    • A physical exam, or
    • Certain medical tests?

If you said yes to any of these, you need to see a doctor.

     2. Are your symptoms:

    • New or getting worse,
    • Lasting more than a few days, or
    • Concerning to you?

if you said yes to any of these, trust your instincts and get a consultation.

The Best Approach

AI is a great tool for learning, preparing questions, tracking symptoms, or understanding medical terms. But it’s not good enough to be your final stop for medical advice.

Use AI to learn, understand, and gain control.

Use doctors to get final diagnosis and for prescribed treatment.

Remember: This information is for educational purposes only and should not replace professional medical advice. Always consult with a healthcare provider for medical concerns.

No, all medical AI models are not the same. They differ in a wide range of factors, from their core purpose to how they are built, trained, fine-tuned, and regulated. Understanding these differences is crucial for appreciating the unique role of any specific model and knowing when to rely on AI versus seeking professional attention.

How Medical AI Models Differ

Medical AI models are not one-size-fits-all. Their differences can be broken down into several key categories:

Purpose

Models are built for specific tasks. Some focus on:

  • Diagnosis support - helping doctors make decisions
  • Symptom triage - deciding how urgent care needs to be
  • Imaging interpretation - reading X-rays, MRIs, CT scans
  • Documentation assistance - helping write medical notes
  • Personalized treatment suggestions - recommending specific treatments

Training Data

The data used to train a model is a core differentiator:

  • Some models use real patient data (structured or unstructured)
  • Others rely on synthetic or de-identified datasets to protect privacy
  • Quality and diversity of training data affects accuracy

Clinical Scope

  • Specialist models: Focus on single areas like dermatology or radiology
  • Generalist models: Designed for broad performance across many medical conditions

Architecture

The technology under the hood varies significantly:

  • Simple, rule-based systems
  • Advanced large language models (LLMs)
  • Sophisticated multimodal AI that processes multiple types of data at once

Transparency & Explainability

  • Some models offer clear, traceable reasoning for their output
  • Others function as "black boxes" where the logic is not easily understood

Why Medome Is Different

Medome's model is built on a foundation of clinical rigor and patient empowerment, setting it apart in several strategic ways:

Holistic Intake Engine

The Medome AI model goes beyond simple symptom-checking by collecting a comprehensive medical, risk, family, social, and lifestyle history—much deeper than a physician can elicit in a time-limited visit. It includes review of recommended preventive screenings, identifying important psychosocial factors, and three-generation family history for better diagnostic framing.

The Medome model has an extensive risk assessment protocol (over 500 evidence-based risk assessments) that combines all your available data and does an extensive analysis of combined symptoms and risk factors such as family history, social situations, lifestyle, and personal medical history.

Doctor-Built and Tested, Patient-Guided

The technology was rigorously designed by physicians and scientists to ensure clinical accuracy. To enhance truthfulness, data is collectible through a patented, animated, bi-directional voice-based conversational AI agent named Eve, which allows patients to more comfortably and empathetically engage with the process.

Pre-Visit and Post-Visit Empowerment

Medome is not just a symptom-checker  or so-called AI Doctor tool. It prepares patients before their appointments by guiding them to articulate their concerns, understand possible risks, and formulate questions for their doctor. Post-visit, it creates a summary and completes an analysis of the appointment to make sure everything is clearly understood and appears accurate.

Medome provides an educational, first-pass differential diagnosis, and curated questions without ever replacing the doctor's role.

Proprietary Models Tuned for Context

In addition to repurposing the rigorously tested, best available at the time general-purpose LLM, SOAP's model includes AI trained on proprietary databases, specifically fined-tuned for advanced, structured and narrative clinical reasoning. It is aligned with the well-known SOAP note format (Subjective, Objective, Assessment, Plan) and integrates care journeys.

Privacy-First, Shareable Reports

Patients retain ownership of their reports, which can be securely and instantaneously shared with any provider. This helps to bridge fragmented care and reduce the need for patients to repeat their health history. Never fill out a medical history form again.

Optimized for both patients and doctors

Medome enables you to hear all questions and answer all questions by voice. You can even ask your own questions by voice, whether medical or unrelated.

100% Voice-Based Capable

Medome enables you to hear all questions and answer all question by voice. You can even ask your own questions by voice, whether medical or unrelated.

Unique Safety Features

Medome is built to flag emergencies, recognize uncommon and rare conditions, or know when to refer to a doctor. It assigns probabilities to potential diagnoses and doesn’t offer a high probability diagnosis when it’s not sure. Medome’s mission is to not miss asking a single clinically relevant question.

Dr. Steven Charlap’s Personal Phone Number

Medome is the only group where its founder provides his personal (and only) mobile phone number, 617-319-6434, for anyone to use if something is unsatisfactory or goes awry with Medome.

He wants to save lives and make sure, as is the medical mantra, “First, do no harm.”

He invites calls that will improve Medome’s performance or related problems that need his attention.

Clinician-Level Diagnostic Support

The model mirrors the clinical reasoning of top primary care physicians—analyzing patterns, probabilities, and red flags—not just matching keywords.

Built for the Exam Room But Useful Outside

Medome is designed to integrate with medical practice, enhancing, not replacing, physician decision-making, which ensures actionable, safe, and clinically relevant outputs.

Transparent + Explainable AI

Medome doesn't just give answers, it helps users understand the why behind it, with clear explanations and context to build trustworthiness.

Secure, Compliant, and Ethical

HIPAA-compliant, SOC 2 Type 2 audited, privacy-first, and developed with medical, legal, and ethical advisors, SOAP puts safety and trust first.

Remember: This information is for educational purposes only and should not replace professional medical advice. Always consult with a healthcare provider for medical concerns.

That's an excellent and important question that gets to the heart of how even a mission-driven group like Medome must sustainably operate.

Here are several key reasons why Medome charges after a 30-day free trial for its applications despite being mission-driven:

Sustainability and Scale

Long-term viability: Free services often struggle to maintain quality and innovation without sustainable funding. By charging, Medome can ensure we have resources to:

  1. Continuously improve our AI models
  2. Maintain high security and privacy standards
  3. Provide reliable customer support
  4. Scale to help more patients over time
  •

Ensure Quality by Continuing Investment

"Free" often means lower quality: Developing and using sophisticated medical AI requires significant costs and investment in:

  1. Expert physicians and AI engineers
  2. Regulatory compliance and safety testing
  3. Secure infrastructure and data protection
  4. Ongoing model training and validation
  •

Mission-Driven ≠ Free

Impact over charity: Our mission-driven organization charges because:

  1. It ensures we can sustain our mission long-term
  2. It allows reinvestment in research and development
  3. It demonstrates value to both patients and healthcare systems
  4. It enables us to serve more people by staying financially healthy
  •

Value-Based Pricing

Medome structured pricing to:

  1. Make services accessible to everyone, especially those who need them most
  2. Offer sliding scale or assistance programs
  3. Share the Health program to improve accessibility
  4. Price fairly compared to alternatives (like a single doctor visit)
  5. Provide significant value relative to cost
  •

Comparison to Alternatives

Consider the cost of Medome versus:

  1. A single urgent care visit for symptom evaluation
  2. An emergency room visit for non-emergency
  3. Time off work for unnecessary medical appointments
  4. Paying out of pocket for deductibles and co-payments
  5. Lack of peace of mind and preparation for medical appointments
  6. No double-checking on medical appointments
  7. Not being able to use your Health Savings Account (HSA) as you can to pay for Medome

The key question isn't whether we charge, but whether our pricing aligns with our mission to make primary care more accessible, affordable, and accurate.

In Summary

A successful balance is achieved when our business model, Share the Health, is a direct engine for the mission.

The revenue we generate is a feedback loop that enables us to:

  1. Reinvest in our mission: We use our profits to further Research and Development, expand access to underserved communities, and improve the quality and safety of the product.
  2. Ensure ethical operations: Fund the robust data security, privacy, and regulatory compliance necessary to handle sensitive patient information.
  3. Create a virtuous cycle: As we grow and help more people, we will generate more revenue, which in turn will allow us to lower prices, help even more people, and create a greater positive societal impact.

Ultimately, any mission-driven company that fails to be financially sustainable risks having no mission at all.

The credibility of any medical AI system rests on rigorous testing, clinical validation, and real-world performance. Medome has undergone extensive validation across multiple dimensions, establishing a strong foundation of evidence for its effectiveness and reliability.

Medome vs. Industry Standards

How Medome Exceeds Expectations

Many healthcare apps and platforms offer:

  • No formal security certification

  • Most companies only achieve Type 1 (if any certification)
  • Average time to achieve Type 2: 12-18 months of preparation
  • Annual audit costs: $50,000-$200,000+ (requiring serious investment)

HIPAA Compliance and Beyond

SOC 2 Supports HIPAA Requirements

  • Access Control: User identification, automatic logoff, encryption
  • Audit Controls: Hardware, software, and procedural mechanisms
  • Integrity: Protection from alteration/destruction of ePHI

  • Financial institutions' customer data

This isn't just a checkbox - it's a comprehensive, ongoing commitment to earning and maintaining your trust through verified, industry-leading security practices.

Your health information deserves the highest level of protection. Medome's SOC 2 Type 2 certification ensures you receive exactly that.

Medome currently is fully integrated with only Athenahealth, which means we can both push and pull data. However, Medome is able to pull data from any certified EMR with your permission under the Cures Act, which gives patients a legal right to retrieve their data at any time.

Yes, in fact, it works great on mobile devices and smart phones like iPhones, Samsung, and Google, as it has a mobile-first design.

Standard. Eve, our medical interviewer works best with a high-level connection.

This is an ongoing matter of debate, but Medome believes it can get the right diagnosis more accurately than any other AI system or most primary care physicians. The reported rate for all physicians of misdiagnosis is between 5-15%. Medome consistently scores above 95%; when it doesn’t, Medome identifies the need for a specific referral to a specialist for specific specialized testing, such as referral to a hematologist (blood expert) for a bone marrow biopsy.

Medome is trained on all categories of disease, including common diseases with atypical presentations, as well as uncommon and rare diseases.

Currently only English, but Spanish is on the way.

If you are in a foreign country, outside the US, where the language is not English, you can use Google's Chrome browser, Microsoft's Edge or Apple's Safari, which all offer a translation of Medome to the local language.

So, Medome works in most foreign languages. However, Eve, the digital human, only speaks English at this time. But she's been studying Spanish.

First, the good news. Do the full interview one time and you never have to do it again. Second, the first session can take upwards of 45 minutes if all questions in all sections are answered at one time. However, you shouldn't do the full consult at one time and should spread it out among multiple sessions. Remember, accuracy over speed matters.

If you want the highest-grade results, it’s best to complete the entire intake. But the choice is yours. Once all your information is collected, subsequent intakes should take less than ten minutes.

No worries! If you register, you can return anytime to where you left off. The application saves your info as it goes along. Without registration, we can’t assure you can return and your info will still be there.

Accessibility capabilities have been built into the application.

Yes, but you need an account for every person who uses it as it remembers prior information to personalize its analysis.

Yes, with one exception. It has not been separately trained on child development data. Some of the AI models we use may contain this information but Medome cannot guarantee its accuracy.

Medome is able to answer questions on a very wide variety of health topics. However, pregnancy related decisions should be made only in consultation with a licensed professional. There are too many variables and risks to not involve a doctor.

We welcome elderly users and encourage them to speak clearly to engage fully with Eve, our digital human medical interviewer. Eve is also good company as she can answer questions and engage on a variety of topics.

All our fonts are large and there are accessibility features as well. Also, many intuitive images help users understand questions.

As part of its full intake, Medome asks questions related to mental health, such as about depression and anxiety, and also asks about personal and family history of mental health conditions. For concerning statements and symptoms, Medome will suggest calling the National Suicide Hotline 988, 911, or scheduling an appointment with a mental health professional.

$12.50 total per month. An annual subscription is $108.

Not at the moment, but we are working on it.

However, you can use your HSA/FSA funds to pay for it.

Yes, after purchasing the first subscription for a total of $12.50 per month or $108 annually, you can add additional subscriptions at $9 per month or $84 annually for everyone else. We can't go lower until the price of AI comes down (we hope.)

Currently, the US. Although it is web-based and is accessible globally. However, we can't account for local  laws outside the US so use at your own discretion.

Medome is not a licensed physician so licensing requirements do not apply.

However, after accumulating enough data, we will approach the FDA for more extensive use.

Medome believes it does not require FDA approval and has not sought it.

Indefinitely or until we are asked to de-identify.  Under HIPAA, we are required to retain medical data for seven years.

Here are five diplomatic strategies for users to navigate this situation:

1. Frame it as helping the doctor save time "I know your time is valuable, so I brought a comprehensive medical history I've already prepared. Would it be helpful if I gave you this instead of filling out the form? It has everything organized in one place."

Why it works: Positions Medome as a gift to the doctor, not a challenge to their authority.

2. Ask permission rather than making demands "I've been using a tool that tracks my complete medical history. Would you be open to looking at that summary instead of me filling out your form? I'm happy to do whichever you prefer."

Why it works: Gives the doctor control and shows respect for their process while offering an alternative.

3. Acknowledge their expertise while presenting the information "I know you'll want to review everything yourself, but I brought a detailed history that might give you a head start. Can I share it with you?"

Why it works: Reassures the doctor you're not trying to do their job—just providing better data for them to work with.

4. Start with the form, then offer the supplement Begin filling out their form, then say: "Actually, I have all this information already compiled in detail. Would it save us both time if I just gave you this? You can let me know if there's anything else you need."

Why it works: Shows willingness to comply with their process first, making the alternative feel like efficiency rather than defiance.

5. Use it as a conversation starter, not a replacement "I've been tracking my health history carefully and brought a summary with me today. I'd love to walk through it with you—would that be helpful?"

Why it works: Positions Medome output as a tool for better collaboration, not a bureaucratic workaround. Invites dialogue.

Bonus tip for all strategies: Bring both, the Medome output AND be prepared to fill out their form if needed. This shows flexibility and reduces the doctor's fear that you're trying to circumvent their workflow entirely.

Yes, by request. Once removed, it cannot be restored other than by reentering it on your own. Your de-identified data, combined with everyone else’s, is important to our longitudinal research to help others.  Under HIPAA, medical data must be retained for seven years.

Medome uses longitudinal data to reinforce its diagnostic capabilities and search for trends in large data sets that can improve prevention, early disease detection, and diagnostic accuracy.

Only those few with an absolute need to know, although everyone is HIPAA trained and retrained each year.

With the push of a button. You can print or share by protected email.

Currently, you can remove or edit data if you don’t want to share, but it will impact the quality of your personalized analyses.

Please be advised, we err on the side of caution so you may get irrelevant 911 messages. The decision is ultimately yours. In case of emergency, always call 911.

Yes, PDF. Integration with EMRs is only possible if the physician is a client of SOAP Health, our parent group.

Medome recommends calling 911, 988 (National Suicide Hotline), or seeking immediate medical attention.

Medome recommends calling 911, 988 (National Suicide Hotline), or seeking immediate medical attention.

There is a telemedicine provider available for a separate fee charged by the medical provider. However, in the case of an emergency, you are strongly encouraged to call 911 or seek immediate medical attention. For non-emergencies, there is a “support” function for technical help.

Longitudinal data-tracking and internal validation. Continuous post-market surveillance.

Longitudinal data-tracking and internal validation.

There is Medome contact information on the report shared with physicians.

By your feedback. Medome closes the loop on every diagnosis by working with you to keep your records updated.

We suggest first discussing it with your physician and if still not satisfied, consulting a second physician.

Medome believes it is superior for many reasons and has openly challenged WebMD, Ada, Doctronic, K Health, Symptomate, and others to a friendly competition. None have accepted.

Free tools ask: "Do you have chest pain?" Medome asks: "Tell me about your chest discomfort, your family history of heart disease, your recent stress levels, and that shoulder pain you mentioned last month, when did it start, have you had this before, was it diagnosed, is it getting better or worse, what makes it better or worse, are there any associated symptoms, etc."

This isn't just more questions, it's comprehensive medical thinking that mirrors how top physicians actually diagnose.

What You're Really Paying For

Clinical Depth: 40+ years of physician expertise built into every interaction, not algorithms trained on web searches.

Your Safety: When free tools miss something serious, there's no accountability. Dr. Charlap gives you his personal phone number (617-319-6434) because he stakes his reputation on Medome doing the right thing.

Preparation Power: You don't just get a list of possibilities—you get the questions to ask your doctor, the context to understand your risks, and the preparation to make your appointment count.

Privacy That Matters: Your health data isn't sold to advertisers or used to train models for other companies. SOC 2 Type 2 certification ensures enterprise-grade protection.

The Real Value Equation

Medome costs less than:

  1. A single urgent care copay for peace of mind
  2. Time off work for an unnecessary doctor visit
  3. The anxiety of wondering if that symptom is serious
  4. A monthly cup of premium coffee

Free tools help you search. Medome helps you understand. That understanding—backed by decades of medical expertise and accountability—is what makes the difference between information and insight.

When your health is on the line, the question isn't whether you can afford Medome. It's whether you can afford to rely on any product less reliable.

Medome is not a licensed medical provider. It cannot prescribe. However, we are affiliated with a 24/7 medical group that can provide telehealth services and prescribe at your convenience.

So many. We don’t like to talk about what’s coming until we build and test something we can all trust.

Medome is always monitoring releases of AI advancements and always compares new capabilities to our current capabilities to update as necessary.

Medome can already handle all specialties from an AI perspective.

However, specialty care often requires specialty testing. That testing can be critical to making the right diagnosis. Medome can suggest but can't facilitate that testing.

The first steps are access and affordability. That’s at the root of our mission to provide access, affordability, and accuracy to everyone and to save the lives of millions of people we will never meet.

Your medications and supplements, known allergies, any known family medical history, and any past medical records if available.

First, gather all your medical information in one place. Ask knowledgeable family members for help with family medical history if you are not sure.

In this order, consult a licensed medical professional or our affiliated physicians, and then let us know. We live to plug gaps and your feedback is essential.

Here’s a two part answer. First, whenever you want. Second, whenever you are experiencing a recurring or new symptom, no matter how subtle. Often times, early cancers, heart diseases, and infections initially present with very subtle symptoms that can be easily ignored because they are not so bothersome. For example, a small rash, some unexpected weight loss, new onset fatigue, a low grade fever, a lump or a bump, etc. Those are good use cases for Medome.

Lastly, update any changes in personal and family history so Medome is ready when needed.

Not at this time. It’s on the roadmap for future releases. We don’t like to discuss future releases, but you asked.

Well, first let’s stay positive as that would be a sad and unexpected day. To tell the truth, we can’t predict the future but your rights will be protected under any circumstances.

Medome can handle all medical conditions but is limited when it comes to genetically mediated pediatric illnesses, ultra-rare diseases, and yet undiagnosed new diseases.

Medome runs a Medication Safety Check and flags serious concerns with red and yellow flags, and lists more minor concerns without flags.

Yes, we can interpret the data and physician impressions and assessments, even read images like x-rays, CT scans, and skin images.

However, this is new frontier for Medome and these independent reads are not yet deemed fully trustworthy. Let us know how we did.

Even better, you can try it for free for 30 days.

We will 100% refund your money for the most recent month and stop billing you.

Medome does not assume liability for an incorrect diagnosis because you are cautioned to never rely upon Medome for your medical diagnosis. You should always share your output and consult with a licensed medical professional. We’ll let you know when this changes.

Medome is intended for use by adults aged 18 and above.

Not at this time, but you can choose which questions to answer. Medome does ask different follow-up questions based on how you respond. Remember, the more answers you provide, the higher the quality of your analysis. Isn’t your time worth getting the most accurate output?

Yes, absolutely. Medome remembers all your answers and uploaded medical information to personalize each encounter.

The more you share about yourself, the better the personalized answers.

Also, HealthSigns allows Medome to customize how it communicates with you.

If you mean to Medome, that's coming shortly. If you mean from Medome, absolutely yes.

Medome does provide medication reconciliation but does not offer reminders at this time. But, it’s on the roadmap for future releases. We don’t like to discuss future releases but you asked.

Medome has multiple partnerships including Imperial College London, National Health Services, ABW Medical, IntelePeer, Ready Computing, and Dolby.

An IPO could be a possibility in the future. Always happy to speak with prospective investors. Right now, we are focused on helping you and saving lives.

By doing right by our clients. By always putting their health needs above all else.

You can, but forgive us for saying this, but that would be a mistake. Seeing the doctor before you completed an intake and had a thorough analysis completed would increase the likelihood of you getting the wrong diagnosis and the wrong treatment. Even if you just want a medication renewal, let us make sure everything is truly okay. Too many times early and accurate diagnoses are missed because people, including health professionals, cut corners or suffer from confirmation bias, decision fatigue, or knowledge gaps. Medome exists to prevent these types of errors. So let us do what we’re here to do on your behalf. Please follow our processes so we can all try and sleep well at night.

Medome can’t but our affiliated practices can, but only after a careful review of your medical history. I’m sorry, but we value accuracy over speed. Your doctor will review your needs during the video visit, if you choose to have one.

Of course you can and we hope you do. The more accurate information we have, the better the analysis.
